For 2007 Oklahoma Celebrates the Morgan Horse will take place at the Oklahoma State Fair. After it was decided that there would be no USEF Morgan Show at the Fair for 2007 Marc Pancow asked me if I would do a Morgan Horse demonstration on Saturday afternoon after the Appaloosa show ends. Due to all the construction we decided it would be best to say that the demo would not begin prior to 3PM. If you are going to participate it will be with the understanding that we do not really know exactly when the demo will begin—but it will be sometime after 3PM. Move-in for horses will start at 10AM. It should be in barn 6.

The Fair has stalls available for 10 horses. The Fair will pay for the stalls. Participants must provide their own bedding. The Fair will also provide us with entry passes for those participating and helping with the event. Volunteers need to contact Pat Gillespie (405)728-7355 or (405)844-3061

We need gate people and an announcer.

Since we only have space for 10 horses I ask that you do not sign up to participate unless you are very certain that you will be able to attend. Last minute cancellations may make it where we do not have a very good show. It also makes it difficult when we have to go back and change the scripts.

IMPORTANT: All horses must have current Coggins and Health Papers in order to get into the Fairgrounds.

There will not be a sales horse or stallion at stud presentation this year-- due to lack of space.

*Fee for Stallion showcase or Sales horse: $15 for first horse and $7 for each additional horse with the same owner. All fees will be used to pay for advertising in the Daily Oklahoman. Fee includes photo ad on this website. Photo ads will remain up until 12/31/2006. Owners may advertise additional horses that they are not bringing to the event.
